QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
How do soft and hard enamel pins differ?
Soft enamel leaves color below the raised metal lines; hard enamel is filled and polished to a more level surface. Choose based on the feel and look you need.
Which backing should I choose?
Butterfly and rubber clutches are common starting points; locking clutches, safety pins and magnets can be requested. Tell MGM the fabric, use and any restrictions before confirming the attachment.
Can a pin include a cutout, spinner or dangling piece?
Include every moving part, cutout and attachment in your artwork notes. These affect the outline, balance, assembly and production quote.
Will small text reproduce clearly?
Provide a vector logo or a high-resolution source and the finished size. The production proof identifies lettering or color areas that need simplifying.
Can I order multiple designs or backer cards?
List the quantity for each design and specify the card size, printed text and packaging. Each design and tool is reviewed in the quote.
What artwork should I send?
Send a vector file when available, or a clear PNG/JPG/PDF plus the exact wording. Keep editable originals and tell MGM if you need design assistance.
When does production begin?
Production follows the approved proof and confirmed order/payment arrangements. Include any event deadline so production and transit can be reviewed separately.
What if I need a sample or a change?
Use the sample request to compare available processes. Request design changes before approving production; cost and timing depend on the production stage.
